Leveraging one-on-one personalization and AI technology, Amikka Learning’s team of 100+ tutors helps students reach their target SAT/ACT scores, improve their grades, and earn acceptances to their dream schools with scholarships.
Both Latinos from Florida, Christopher and Christian founded Amikka after navigating the challenges of college admissions and standardized testing.
Finding an affordable 1:1 SAT/ACT tutoring program tailored to their specific strengths and weaknesses was difficult (most programs cost $150+ per hour). Even more challenging was connecting with a tutor who truly understood their experiences—many felt out of touch with their generation. Beyond test preparation, Christian and Christopher also spent countless hours researching the best strategies for building strong college applications, choosing a list of target schools, writing compelling essays, and securing scholarships.
After achieving their target SAT scores and earning admission to their dream school, UPenn, Christopher and Christian built Amikka’s SAT/ACT tutoring and college advising programs around three core principles:

Standardized testing and college admissions can be overwhelming, but Amikka’s goal is to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible for families. After graduating from UPenn and working at Google and Gatorade, Christopher and Christian are now dedicated full-time to building Amikka and providing affordable education to families across the country.

Christopher, a first-generation college student who couldn’t afford expensive tutoring, spent hundreds of hours deconstructing the SAT on his own. After improving his score by 400 points and earning admission to UPenn, Christopher created Amikka’s affordable SAT/ACT tutoring programs, which have now helped over 3,000 students. Christopher worked at Google for several years before leaving to focus on Amikka full-time.
Christian grew up in a small town and became the first student from his high school to attend UPenn. After several years of helping students improve their SAT/ACT scores and craft their college essays, he built Amikka’s college admissions advising program, which has now helped our students earn over $25 million in total scholarships. Following his graduation from UPenn, Christian worked at Gatorade before transitioning full-time to Amikka.
