Online SAT Tutoring for Miami-Dade Families

We work with families throughout Miami-Dade County, including Coral Gables, Kendall, Doral, Brickell, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, South Miami, Coconut Grove, Miami Beach, Aventura, and North Miami. All sessions are online with top 1% tutors, which Miami families consistently prefer for flexibility around sports, clubs, and traffic on US-1.

Whether your student attends a private school like Gulliver Prep, Ransom Everglades, Belen Jesuit, or Carrollton, a magnet like MAST Academy or Coral Reef Senior High, or a public school like Miami Palmetto Senior High, we build prep around their schedule and the Florida testing calendar: school-day SAT administrations, AP season crunch, and fall early-application deadlines.

Built for Florida Students: Bright Futures, UF, FSU, and More

SAT prep in Florida is not just about admissions. The right score can make tuition free. Our tutors know the exact SAT scores needed for the Florida Bright Futures scholarship, and we build score targets around your student's goal schools: UF, FSU, UCF, the University of Miami, or an Ivy. Florida juniors also get a free school-day SAT each spring. We help students use it as a strategic baseline, then peak on a Saturday retake.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does SAT tutoring cost in Miami?

Amikka's 1-on-1 SAT tutoring starts at $68/hour, with packages and monthly payment plans available. Group courses start at $33/hour. Every option includes our digital SAT platform and is taught by a top 1% scorer.

Can you help my student qualify for Bright Futures?

Yes. Helping Florida students hit Bright Futures score thresholds is one of the most common goals we work toward, and one of the highest-ROI reasons to invest in SAT prep.

How much can my child realistically improve?

Amikka students improve an average of 200+ points on the SAT and 4+ points on the ACT. Every student starts at a different baseline, but our combination of expert tutoring, structured accountability, and AI-powered practice is designed to maximize score improvement efficiently.

What makes Amikka different from other SAT prep programs?

Unlike large classroom-based prep companies, Amikka specializes in highly personalized 1:1 SAT and ACT tutoring. We combine elite tutors, customized academic strategy, structured accountability, and a proven track record of results into one comprehensive system. Every student follows a personalized study plan supported by adaptive AI-powered practice tools, progress tracking, full-length exams, and ongoing parent communication designed to keep students consistently improving between sessions.

When is the best time to get started with SAT/ACT tutoring?

We highly recommend that students begin working with a 1:1 tutor during their sophomore year or earlier. Students only need to submit their highest scores to universities, so we recommend that students take their first exam during the second semester of their sophomore year.

Junior year is often the busiest time for academics and extracurriculars, so our goal is for students to complete their testing by the end of their first semester of junior year. This way, they can eliminate the stress of standardized testing early and focus on grades, extracurriculars, and enjoying their high school experience. The sooner you start, the sooner you finish.

What’s our score improvement guarantee?

Students who complete our recommended tutoring plan are guaranteed to improve by 200+ SAT points or 4+ ACT points. If they don’t, we’ll continue working with them at no additional cost.

What are the benefits of 1-on-1 tutoring versus a group class or self-paced learning?

We’ve discovered the three reasons why 1-on-1 tutoring helps students improve exponentially faster.

1-on-1 tutoring…

  • Offers a 100% customized learning experience that adapts to each student's strengths and weaknesses.
  • Ensures active participation and accountability, keeping students engaged and focused throughout their entire learning journey.
  • Fosters a strong tutor-student relationship, providing motivation and encouragement. Celebrating small victories boosts confidence and drives students toward their scoring goals.
